About Caroline Schiff

An attorney focused on affirmative litigation, Caroline Schiff laid the foundation for her career by earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Illinois, where she made the Dean's List. Following a successful summer internship, Caroline Schiff served as a Senior Technology and Security Risk Consultant at Ernst & Young in Chicago, IL. In 2008, she graduated with her Juris Doctor from the University of Chicago Law School.

That same year, Caroline Schiff took on the role of an Associate at Sidley Austin LLP in Chicago, IL. Representing consumer and pharmaceutical product companies in complex class action, multi-district, and individual litigations.

Ms. Schiff joined Humana Inc. in 2013 and has since built its affirmative litigation practice. As Senior Counsel, she oversees a multibillion-dollar recovery portfolio and litigates against pharmaceutical manufacturers, retailers, providers and liability carriers. Additionally, she defends her company against litigation involving coverage issues, breach of contract, business torts, employment, HIPAA, pharmacy, and other disputes.
